RENTAL FAQ
What if the bike says it's not available to rent online?
If a bike shows “sold out” online, someone has already booked that bike. Try changing your dates or choosing a different model.
What if I want to rent TODAY?
We accept walk-in rentals. Same day rentals are firstcome, first served.
What bike should I get?
All of our bikes are sweet! Pick one and it won’t let you down. We are available to help you with sizing guidelines for each bike.
Can I Rent ForMy Upcoming Race?
Yes! Just give us a call!
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes, we group discounts. Large groups can book via email or book a guide!
What is the demo program?
Up to 3 rentals can be put towards the price of a new bike. Must be used within 1 month.
What should I bring?
Hydration pack or water bottle. All bikes are equipped with one water bottle cage. Wear shoes appropriate for riding a bike and bring gloves if you want them! We also rent helmets.
What does my rental come with?
Bikes are equipped with flat pedals, or you can bring your own.
How do transport my rental?
Transportation is the responsiblity of the renter. Strapping to your roof is not allowed. Bike rack or truck bed is acceptable. The San Felasco Trailhead is right out our door.
Where do I ride?
There are almost 200 miles of trail in the area. Do your research before renting to find the best place to ride. Not all trails are appropriate for all riders. Fifty miles of trail are accessible from our shop. New to this area? We recommend hiring a guide! Check out our adventure bike tour page.
What happens if I have trouble or get a flat?
We are not responsible for technical assistance or bicycle recovery, unless you hire a guide. If you have trouble or get a flat and are not prepared to fix it we ask that you bring it to the bike shop and we will do our best to get you back out on the trail. Flat kits and pumps can be requested at pickup.
Can I pick the bike up early?
Early pick up an hour before closing the night before (2-6pm Tuesday-Friday, Saturday- Sunday 8am-2pm). We cannot guarantee that the bike will be ready until closing so you may need to hang out. Early pick up is $15 per bike.
What if I am late returning?
We are very strict about our late policy. Cost next day rental will be added as a late fee PER bike if the bike does not make it back before closing time. Under no circumstance should bikes be left unsupervised before opening or after closing. If you are worried about timing, please call and ask for help or an extended rental period.
What's the cancellation policy?
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Bikes cancelled within less than 48 hours will incur a $30 fee per bike. No Call and No Shows will incur a full rental fee. Cancellation fees do not apply for weather related cancellations.
Additionally, there is an option to purchase cancelation insurance when booking a tour online.
Can I rent a bike for half a day?
We only offer full day rentals.
Can I ride more than one bike in the day?
Yes, your rental fee can accommodate up to two individual bikes before incuring addition fees.
